Not because anything was wrong with the first....but because I wanted a second stand for the office. This is a very good little product and my first one has withstood a bit of abuse well. The packaging is very thoughtful and minimal as well which I appreciate.Love the rose color. Feels pretty sturdy. And the height is good for me not stooping to look at my phone AND good for charging.After several videocalls with half my nan's face, I ordered her this so that she could prop it comfortably and I can see her beautiful full face. My aunt loved it so much that she asked me to order her one, too. She uses it to hold her tablet to watch her shows.
