YRU Car Phone Mount - Strong Suction for iPhone Samsung - for Dashboard & Air Vent

This car mount was perfect for my car. The suction was amazing, it was easy to install, and worked great. However, the other day when I placed my phone in the mount it completely snapped. (see photo) I was so disappointed. I’ve only had this since May. I thought for sure this would have lasted years, not 4 months. ?PLEASE NOTE:I'm adding to my first review. The company contacted me and sent me not just one but 2 replacements!!! I was very impressed with the costumer service. I changed the rating due to the positive experience.First off, this unit is very sturdy, and holds VERY strong.That said, the suction cup does have some kind of sticky gluey stuff on it. So my only concern is, if I have to remove it, will it leave behind a stain or residue on my dash...I have not removed it yet, so i dont know. Just beware that it sticks as well as suctions.Overall still very impressed.In love with this product. I use it in my semi truck. Very resistant. And great customer service that this store provides when i needed a replaxment of one that came detective.The mount holder is pretty good. Sometimes when it’s too hot in the car the suction can get weak, but for the most part if you redo it, it’ll stay put! Sometimes when the suction is weak if I’ll go over a bump it’ll pop off. To avoid these things while driving I’ll say just check how sturdy it is before driving off.I needed a new car mount as one is my old one of 5 years had bit the dust. This was a lot like my old one except the other one had to have a gooey disc between my dashboard and the holder. I live in Georgia and the heat melted the gooey disc and it was a problem every year.This came exactly when it was predicted to come, the packaging was perfect without any problems to it. Inside all the parts were there and undamaged and the instructions were very clear on how to mount It into my car. The installation is super easy, took me a whole minute and a half to install. I waited more than the time required before using, it said 20 minutes and I think I waited between 40 minutes and an hour. It worked perfectly!Also customer service has already been in contact with me, making sure I enjoyed the product and it was Received in good order. They also already activated my warranty, all without me having to do a thing. I would definitely buy this again if I needed another car mount.NothingMaybe this is just where I live but it has a hard time staying up holding my phone in the mornings. It could be a weather thing because when things warm up a bit it gets alot better.Update: I didn't think they would send me another one and glad they did. As soon as the last one stop standing up I put up the new one in the same spot and Installed it right and it's standing alot better. So for those who get it make sure you Install it right and it will last longerLove it in my car. There customer service is great. It's also adjustable, can be manoeuvred into position and can be used either horizontally or vertically.It will fit the majority of phones up to 4.6 inches and has a release button so your phone can quickly be removed.All in all, it's a very good car phone holder, which is reflected in the price of £32.99, which was the cost at time of writing. Having said that, I do still feel it's a bit overpriced.I hope you found this review helpful.This works excellently attached to the windscreen and I am able to position it just as I need for my 2021 Mini One.However, these days phone mounts are very similar. Manufacturers have developed a working formula for the majority of vehicles, and they mostly replicate it with great success.This model has a nice touch including a cable clip, which I really appreciate as I use quite a long charging cable and when it falls free it is very irritating and so a cable clip is just the finishing touch I needed in my car.Great model and good priceA good quality phone holder for your car, it can be attached to the heater vent or stuck on the dash, only suitable if your dashboard us smooth and flat. The instructions are very clear and easy to read. They’ve included a small clip to hold the leads neatly out the way.It should fit most mobile phones and I’ve pictured it with my iPhone 11 as an example. There are quick release buttons on the holder for your phone.I like this phone holder but at £32.99 I think it is expensive and for that reason I can only give it 4 starsWorked a treat - but all i needed was the Vent holder, which clips nicely and unobtrusively into one of my dash vents without causing and issues.Tried the suction cup and it does work well on my standard (ie not Premium) dash. As it is I'd have been very happy just buying the Vent clip and saving some cash.
